Heartburn IBS

Heartburn is a common symptom of conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease , which involves the backflow of stomach acids into the esophagus and peptic ulcer disease , which is a sore or hole that forms in the lining of the stomach or small intestine. Heartburn can also be the result of the acids from the stomach flowing back into the gullet or the esophagus, Heartburn is generally known to occur after meals or while sleeping or lying down, another name for heartburn is acid reflux. Heartburn and GERD   Pyrosis is a GERD acid reflux symptom that occurs when stomach acid moves up to the esophagus and irritates the esophagus lining and produces and sets your food tube ablaze. Although modern medicine recognizes that stress can trigger IBS attacks, medical specialists agree that IBS is a genuine physical disorder or group of disorders with specific identifiable characteristics. A discussion of dietary treatments for IBS can be found elsewhere. It is not known whether exercises to strengthen the anterior abdominal musculature would be helpful despite evidence that these muscles may be weak in patients with IBS.
